Vibration
My short film simultaneously explores the ideas of movement and stasis. Moving through the city the visual / filmic landscape oscillates between a single coherent journey moving forward and revolving immersive sequences that are restrictive and repetitive- a vibration between forward motion and standing still.I wanted to try to reflect the infernal and overwhelming city. An intense place that is noisy, energetic, dynamic and immersive, but at the same time repetive, confused, blurred and dislocated.
